Cheap Wedding Bands: 5 Picks Priced by Metal, From Under $10

Verified with 10 sources

RingReel may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. Picks come from our research, never from payment. How we make money

Cheap wedding bands are cheap because of the metal, not the store: on the sellers’ own pages on 14 September 2026, silicone listed under $10, titanium under $100, tungsten under $120, and the cheapest solid gold band from $280. Our top pick is the Blue Nile Classic Wedding Ring in 14K white gold, the lowest price we found on a band a jeweler can resize later. What separates a good cheap band from a bad one is the return and resizing policy, so every pick below comes with its seller’s terms in the seller’s own words.

The Best Cheap Wedding Bands, Reviewed

Best overall

Blue Nile Classic Wedding Ring in 14K White Gold (2mm)

by Blue Nile

Best for: A solid gold band at the lowest price we found, for anyone who wants a ring a jeweler can resize later.

The lowest price we read on any solid gold band for this page, and gold is the metal GIA lists as resizable by up to two sizes.

What we like

  • The only band on this page in a precious metal under $300 when we checked
  • Free resizing within the first year on eligible rings, up or down within two sizes, per Blue Nile's resizing page
  • Half sizes from 3 to 14, and widths up to 7mm on the same design

Keep in mind

  • The price climbs with width: the same ring lists at $435 in 3mm and $675 in 4mm
  • White gold is rhodium finished, and GIA notes white gold may need replating every few years
  • Blue Nile's returns page blocked our reader; an archived copy from August 2026 counts the 30 days from the shipment date, not delivery

Best for free resizing

Brilliant Earth 2mm Comfort Fit Wedding Ring in 18K Yellow Gold

by Brilliant Earth

Best for: Someone who wants 18K gold under $1,000 and expects to adjust the size once in the first year.

Brilliant Earth offers a free year of resizing, but its own returns page lists resized rings as final sale, so the two benefits do not stack.

What we like

  • Free 1-year resizes and free 30-day returns, both stated on the seller's policy page
  • Ten widths from 1.5mm to 7mm and quarter sizes on one listing
  • The same design comes in 14K, 18K and platinum, so the metal is a choice rather than a different ring

Keep in mind

  • Brilliant Earth lists rings that have been resized or modified as final sale, so using the free resize ends the return
  • Engraving adds $40 at checkout, and the returns page charges $40 to remove it if the ring comes back
  • The most expensive band on this page

Best for an uncertain size

Northern Royal Classic Silver Tungsten Wedding Band (2mm Width)

by Northern Royal

Best for: A slim everyday band bought months before the wedding, by someone who is not certain of the size.

Tungsten cannot be resized, so Northern Royal sends a new ring in the new size, free for 120 days, and its return and exchange windows restart on your wedding day.

What we like

  • The longest return window on this page: a full refund within 90 days
  • Free size exchanges for 120 days, and the seller says the 90-day return, free resizing and coverage restart on the wedding day
  • A slim 2mm width in half sizes from 4.5 to 12

Keep in mind

  • Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, per GIA, so a size change here means a replacement ring
  • After 120 days a size exchange costs a fee, stated as a $30 deductible on the refund policy and as $50 per perk on the product page
  • One width only on this listing

ThunderFit Thin Silicone Ring

by ThunderFit

Best for: A placeholder band, a travel ring, or a second ring for the gym and the job.

  • The cheapest band on this page by a wide margin
  • Three widths, including a narrow 4mm
  • Six colors, including metallic rose gold and sand gold

Keep in mind

  • Sold in paired sizes, such as 6.5 to 7, rather than exact half sizes

How We Chose

Why Cheap Wedding Bands Are Cheap: The Metal Sets the Price

The fastest way to lower the price of a wedding band is to change what it is made of. Shopping harder inside one metal moves the price far less than stepping down a metal does, and the stores that rank for this search have organized themselves around that fact.

The Price Ladder, One Metal at a Time

Each row is the cheapest plain band we read in that metal, on the seller’s own page. The last column is the part of the trade the price column hides.

MetalCheapest plain listing we readSellerListed price, 14 September 2026Can a jeweler resize it?

The rows get more expensive as they go down, and the resizing answer gets better. That is the bargain a cheap metal band asks you to strike: a low price now, and a ring that has to be replaced rather than adjusted if your size changes. Brilliant Earth, which sells both kinds, puts it plainly: “Rings like tungsten, ceramic, or titanium may not be able to be fully resized due to their hardness or strength.”

Width Moves the Price Inside One Metal

In gold, more width is more gold, so the price follows it. Blue Nile’s classic 14K white gold band climbs from $280 to $675 across the narrowest widths we could open, same metal and same design, before the site’s bot check stopped our reader at the fourth. The alternative metals behave differently. Larson Jewelers lists the Thorsten DOMINUS tungsten band at one price in all seven widths, and Northern Royal charges the same for its slim tungsten band as for its six and eight millimeter men’s bands. So the width you want matters to the budget only once you are in gold.

What the Stores That Rank for “Affordable” Actually Sell

Larson Jewelers ranks on the first page of Google for cheap and affordable wedding bands with a collection called Affordable Wedding Rings. On 14 September 2026 it held 92 rings: 58 tungsten, 17 titanium, 11 ceramic, three cobalt and three silicone, priced from $29.99 to $354.99. Not one was gold, platinum or silver. That is not a criticism of the collection. It is the clearest evidence we found that a store’s idea of affordable is a choice of metal. For what each of those metals does besides cost less, see every band metal side by side.

Cheap Wedding Bands by Budget

Most searches for a cheap band name a ceiling rather than a metal. Here is what each ceiling buys, taken from the listings above.

Wedding Bands Under $100

Under $100, every band we read is silicone, ceramic, tungsten or titanium. ThunderFit’s thin silicone ring sits far below the ceiling, and Titanium Style’s flat titanium band fits under it on sale in the middle widths. A precious metal does not: the cheapest gold band we found starts well above it. If a silicone band is what the budget allows, our silicone wedding bands comparison covers the makers that publish how their rings break.

Wedding Bands Under $300

Under $300 is where solid gold starts. Blue Nile’s classic 14K white gold band fits at its slimmest width, and so does every tungsten and titanium plain band on this page. This is also the ceiling at which the policy starts to matter more than the price, because the rings in it can no longer be treated as disposable.

Wedding Bands Under $500

Under $500, the same Blue Nile band reaches one more width, and nothing else in gold on this page joins it. Men’s widths in this budget are a different set of rings, compared in our guide to cheap men’s wedding bands.

Wedding Bands Under $1,000

Under $1,000 brings 18K gold into reach: Brilliant Earth’s comfort fit band is from $590 in 18K yellow gold at its standard width, with 14K and platinum offered on the same listing. It also brings a free year of resizing and a free 30-day return, with a condition covered in the next section. For listed prices across more sellers and metals, see how much a wedding band costs.

Returns and Resizing: The Terms That Make a Cheap Band a Good Buy

A jeweler's tray of thin plain wedding bands in yellow gold, white gold and gray metal beside a brass ring mandrel

A cheap band bought in the wrong size is not cheap. Here is what each seller says, quoted from its own pages on 14 September 2026, with Manly Bands added because it ranks for these searches too.

SellerReturn window, in its wordsResizing or size exchangeThe catch
Northern Royal”If you do not like your ring, you can send it back for a full refund within the first 90 days.""If your ring does not fit, send it back and we will send you another one for free,” within 120 daysAfter 120 days, a deductible on the refund policy and a per-perk fee on the product page, at two different amounts
Brilliant Earth”If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply return or exchange it within 30 days.""Our free 1-year resizes ensure that you can find the perfect fit.""Rings that have been resized or modified” are final sale
Blue Nile”Hassle-Free Returns” on the product page; an archived copy of its returns page, from 13 August 2026, gives 30 days from the shipment date”Free resizing within the first year on eligible rings,” and a “30-day exchange option if resizing isn’t possible”Free resizing only for rings “Not previously resized”
Larson Jewelers”Within 30 days from the original date of purchase” and “within the first 45 days for a full refund,” on the same page”Lifetime sizing” in the site banner, described elsewhere as a warranty “for tungsten wedding bands""You will pay the return postage”
Titanium Style”Returns will be accepted within 14 days of the receipt date on unworn jewelry in original packaging.""Returns due to sizing issues are covered by our 14 day return and exchange policy.”Engraved rings carry “a refurbishing fee” on any return or exchange
ThunderFit”Our policy lasts 30 days.”Not stated”Sale items cannot be refunded”
Manly Bands (not a pick)“You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your ring for a full refund""You may process ONE exchange during your first 30 days of ownership.""Engraved rings are FINAL SALE”

Free Resizing Can Cancel the Free Return

Brilliant Earth advertises free 30-day returns and free 1-year resizes on the same page, and further down lists “Rings that have been resized or modified” among the items that are final sale. So the two benefits are one or the other: once the ring is resized, you keep it. Wear it at home inside the return window before asking for the adjustment, and ask for the resize only when you are sure you want the ring.

One Seller, Two Answers

Two sellers on this page state their own terms two ways. Larson Jewelers’ refund policy says items are returnable “Within 30 days from the original date of purchase” and, a few lines later, that you “may return it to us within the first 45 days for a full refund.” Northern Royal’s refund policy prices a late size exchange as a deductible, while its product page describes a fee “per perk” once the free period ends, and the two pages give different amounts. We do not decide which wording binds the seller. Ask for the answer in writing before you pay.

Engraving Is Where Cheap Rings Stop Being Returnable

Engraving changes the policy on almost every ring here. Manly Bands writes that “Engraved rings are FINAL SALE and may NOT be returned OR exchanged.” Titanium Style charges a refurbishing fee to take an engraved ring back, Brilliant Earth charges to remove the engraving, and Northern Royal refunds the ring but not “the engraving upgrade.” The fix costs nothing: buy the ring plain, confirm the size, and engrave it afterward. Our wedding ring engraving ideas cover what fits inside a band.

Cheap Women’s Wedding Bands

A hand resting on a blank notebook wearing one thin plain yellow gold wedding band

Cheap women’s wedding bands are mostly slim ones, and slim is where gold is cheapest. Every pick on this page comes in a narrow width: Blue Nile and Brilliant Earth from two millimeters or less, Northern Royal’s tungsten band at two, and ThunderFit’s silicone ring at four. In gold the slim width is the budget choice; in tungsten it saves nothing, because the price does not change with width.

A slim band worn beside an engagement ring raises two more questions, how the two sit together and whether they should be joined, and our guide to wearing an engagement ring and a wedding band answers both. For the styles themselves, from plain and comfort fit to half eternity, see women’s wedding band styles. If the size is the uncertain part, measure first with our printable ring sizer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Are the Best Affordable Wedding Bands?

The best affordable wedding bands pair a low price with terms you can actually use. Our pick is Blue Nile’s classic 14K white gold band at its slimmest width, the cheapest solid gold we read. If the size is uncertain, Northern Royal’s tungsten band refunds within 90 days and exchanges sizes free for 120.

How Much Does the Cheapest Wedding Ring Cost?

The cheapest wedding ring we read on 14 September 2026 was ThunderFit’s thin silicone ring, listed under $10. The cheapest metal band was Titanium Style’s flat titanium ring, on sale under $100 in its middle widths, and the cheapest solid gold band was Blue Nile’s classic 14K white gold ring.

Where Can I Get Cheap but Good Quality Rings?

Buy from a seller that states the metal, the size range and the return terms on the product page itself. Every seller on this page does, and their windows run from 14 days at Titanium Style to 90 days at Northern Royal. On a cheap ring, good quality mostly means the right size.

What Is the Average Price for a Female Wedding Band?

The only dated figure we can name is from 2019, when National Jeweler, reporting The Knot 2019 Jewelry and Engagement Study, put average spending on women’s bands at eleven hundred dollars. Nothing newer we hold measures bands. Read it as a 2019 number, not as a price anyone should expect today.

How Do You Get a Wedding Ring for Cheap?

Choose the metal first, because it sets the price, then the narrowest width you like, because gold costs more as it gets wider. Buy the ring unengraved from a seller with a long return window, confirm the size at home, and engrave it afterward. Measuring first costs less than one exchange.

Where Can I Find a Discounted Wedding Ring?

Discounts were in plain sight on the sellers we read: Titanium Style marks its flat titanium band as a limited time sale, and Larson Jewelers advertised an extra 20% off with a code. Check what a sale does to the return, because ThunderFit states that sale items cannot be refunded.
