Wedding ring sets, also sold as bridal sets, pair an engagement ring with a wedding band designed to sit against it, and two questions separate them: what the set costs against the same two rings bought separately, and what happens if only one piece is wrong. At Brilliant Earth, the one seller here that lists both pieces on their own, two sets checked on 14 September 2026 cost exactly what their two pieces cost. Our top pick is its Petite Twisted Vine set, because that makes the price checkable; the catch is that the center diamond is priced separately.

Two columns decide this purchase, and they are the third and the fifth. “Not stated” is literal: it means the seller’s pages say nothing about it, which on a set is the most common answer to the one-piece question.

The Best Wedding Ring Sets, Reviewed

Best overall

Brilliant Earth Petite Twisted Vine Diamond Bridal Set

by Brilliant Earth

Best for: A buyer who wants to choose the center diamond separately and see exactly what the band adds.

Brilliant Earth lists the engagement ring and the band from this set as two separate products, so the set price can be checked against them, and it matched to the dollar on 14 September 2026.

What we like

  • Both pieces are sold on their own, so the set price is checkable: on 14 September 2026 the set cost exactly the ring and the band together
  • The accent diamonds follow your center diamond: natural with a natural center, lab-grown with a lab-grown center, in Brilliant Earth's own words
  • One complimentary resize within 60 days regardless of sizing range, or up to one year within range, with free shipping both ways

Keep in mind

  • The set price covers the setting and the band only; the center diamond is added in a separate step
  • Brilliant Earth lists rings that have been resized or modified among items that are final sale and cannot be exchanged

Best moissanite set

Charles & Colvard Round Brilliant Split Shank Halo Bridal Set

by Charles & Colvard

Best for: A buyer who wants a large center stone included in the set price, from the maker of the stone.

Charles and Colvard lists this set with a 9.0mm Forever One moissanite center of 2.7 carats diamond equivalent weight and 3.69 carats in total across the set.

What we like

  • The center stone is part of the listing, so the price is for a finished set rather than a setting
  • Four metals listed, including platinum, and a lab-grown diamond center offered on the same design
  • Quarter sizes from 4 to 10

Keep in mind

  • No separate listing for the ring or the band that we could find, so the set price cannot be checked against the pieces
  • The page does not publish the width of either ring, and its returns page says nothing about sets
Price range

Best colored gemstone set

Angara Lab-Grown Blue Sapphire and Diamond Trio Bridal Set

by Angara

Best for: A buyer who wants a colored center stone rather than a diamond, in a set priced complete.

Angara sells the engagement ring from this set on its own, so the set price can be read against the ring, though we found no separate listing for the band.

What we like

  • The center stone is included, and the engagement ring is also sold alone, so the band's share of the price can be worked out
  • One free ring resizing within the first year, with free shipping both ways if requested in the first 30 days
  • Lab-grown sapphire and lab-grown diamonds, stated as such on the page

Keep in mind

  • Returns after the 30-day window carry a 20% restocking fee, and damaged, modified or worn items cannot be returned
  • No width is published for either ring, and the page offers one ring size for the set

Best trio set

My Trio Rings Blake Princess Solitaire Trio Set

by My Trio Rings

Best for: A couple who want the engagement ring, her band and his band from one listing, each in its own size.

My Trio Rings takes a ladies' size and a men's size as two separate choices on the order form, and publishes the width of all three rings.

What we like

  • The only set here with two size selectors, ladies' and men's, each in quarter sizes
  • Widths published for all three rings, including a 6.4mm men's band
  • A 60-day return period, the longest of the five sets

Keep in mind

  • The center stone is small for the price, a quarter carat princess, because the total weight is spread across three rings
  • The guarantee refuses rings that show signs of resizing or soldering by outside jewelers
Price range
Around $4,800 for all three rings (14K white gold)
Material
14K white gold
Widths
1.7mm engagement ring, 1.7mm band, 6.4mm men's band
Sizes
Two selectors: ladies' 3 to 13, men's 6 to 16, in quarter sizes

Best under $500

Modern Gents The Evermore Cushion Halo Engagement Ring Set

by Modern Gents

Best for: A buyer who wants the look of a halo bridal set for the price of a dinner, or a travel stand-in for a real one.

Modern Gents describes the stones as simulated diamonds and the band as 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, so this is a look-alike set rather than a diamond one.

What we like

  • The lowest price on this page by a wide margin
  • Every bridal set comes with 30 days of free returns and alterations, in the seller's words
  • Sizes from 3.5 to 13

Keep in mind

  • Simulated stones and rhodium-plated silver: the plating is a surface layer, and GIA notes that rhodium plating wears away and needs renewing
  • One size for both rings, and no separate listing for either piece that we could find
Price range
Around $185 for the set
Material
925 sterling silver with rhodium plating; gold and rose gold versions listed

What We Left Out

How We Chose

Is a Bridal Set Cheaper Than Buying the Two Rings Separately?

Not at the one seller where we could test it. A set is only cheaper if the same two pieces cost more on their own, and most sellers never let you check, because the pieces are not listed separately. Brilliant Earth is the exception, and on 14 September 2026 both of its sets we checked came to exactly the price of their parts.

MoissaniteCo wedding setsNot priced hereSold with the set”typically only” with the engagement ringA band alone is not a normal purchase

The Price Does Not Include the Center Diamond

Brilliant Earth’s sets are settings. The product page says “Complete your stack by adding a diamond to your selected engagement ring” and walks you through choosing the diamond as a second step, so the figure on the set is for metal, accent stones and the band. That is not a hidden cost, but it does mean a Brilliant Earth set and a Charles and Colvard set are not priced the same way: the Charles and Colvard listing includes a 9.0mm moissanite center. Compare complete rings with complete rings. If the center stone is the open question, our guides to moissanite vs diamond and lab-grown vs natural diamonds cover that choice.

What the Angara Numbers Show

Angara sells the engagement ring from its lab-grown sapphire set on its own, from $1,835, against the set from $2,474. By our arithmetic that leaves six hundred and thirty-nine dollars for the band inside the set, but we found no listing for the band alone, so there is nothing to compare that share with. It is a useful number for one purpose only: if you might skip the band, the ring alone is a real option at this seller.

Buying the Band Later Can Cost You the Return

Brilliant Earth is relaxed about timing: “You do not have to buy the wedding band at the same time as the engagement ring,” though it adds that “buying the two rings together can make it easier to ensure a flush fit and cohesive design.” MoissaniteCo is stricter. Its return policy lists “Matching bands purchased separately from engagement rings” among custom orders that “are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.” Its help page adds that “we typically only sell matching wedding bands for our wedding sets when the corresponding engagement ring is also purchased from our company.” If you want a band that is made for the ring, buying the set up front is the only route with ordinary return rights at that seller.

Returning or Resizing One Ring From a Set

A slim yellow gold wedding band on a steel ring mandrel at a jeweler's bench, with its matching solitaire engagement ring set aside on blank paper beside a loupe

This is the question the listings avoid. A set is sold as one item, and when the band fits and the engagement ring does not, the policy has to decide whether you are returning a ring or breaking a set. Here is what each seller publishes, read on 14 September 2026.

SellerWhat it publishesWhat it means for one piece
Jeulia”Special order items are those changing plating and stone colors, buying a part from the whole set, and the jewelry with personalized engravings, all of these are not refundable.”Buying one piece of a set on its own is a non-refundable special order
MoissaniteCoLists “Matching bands purchased separately from engagement rings” and “Soldered or welded rings” among custom orders that are final saleA band bought on its own, or a soldered set, cannot be returned
Brilliant EarthLists “Rings that have been resized or modified” among items that “are final sale and also cannot be exchanged”A resized piece loses its return
Angara”For partial order returns, we will refund you for the returned items only.”Not stated whether a set counts as one item or two
My Trio RingsRefuses “Rings that show signs of modification by external jewelers (including resizing, soldering, diamond setting etc)“Resize at a local jeweler and the guarantee is gone
Modern Gents”Every bridal set and ring we sell comes with 30-day coverage for free returns and alterations”Alterations included for 30 days; one piece not addressed
Charles & ColvardReturns “within 30 days of your item being shipped to you”Nothing published about sets

Two Sellers Answered in Writing

Jeulia and MoissaniteCo are the only sellers we found that address a partial set head on, and both answer from the same side: splitting a set is a special case, and a special case is final sale. That tells you how to buy from anyone else. If the terms say nothing about sets, ask before you pay whether one piece can be returned or exchanged alone, and get the answer in writing, because the default at the sellers who do answer is no.

One Size Box or Two

Four of the five set pages here offer a single ring size selector. That suits a two-piece set worn on one finger, where both rings should be the same size. It does not suit a trio, where the third ring belongs to a different hand, and it is the reason the My Trio Rings listing stands out: a ladies’ size from 3 to 13 and a men’s size from 6 to 16, both in quarter sizes. Before ordering any trio, count the size selectors. One selector on a three-ring set means the men’s size is settled somewhere else, or not at all. Measure first with our printable ring sizer.

Resizing Ends the Return

Wherever a seller addresses it, a resize closes the return window. Brilliant Earth offers “one complimentary resizing within 60 days regardless of sizing range, or up to 1 year if within sizing range”, and separately lists resized rings among items that are final sale, so the free resize and the return are alternatives, not a sequence. Angara offers “one free ring resizing within the first year of purchase” and refuses returns of items that are “Damaged, modified or already worn by you.” For what a resize costs once the free one is used, see our ring resizing cost guide.

Soldering Makes the Set One Ring

Some couples have the engagement ring and band soldered together after the wedding. Brilliant Earth states plainly that “Soldered rings can’t be worn individually”, and MoissaniteCo lists soldered or welded rings among its final sale custom orders. Once joined, the one-piece question stops existing, because there is only one piece. The trade-offs of soldering are covered in full in how to wear an engagement ring and wedding band.

Trio Wedding Ring Sets

Three yellow gold rings standing on edge on beige linen: a round solitaire engagement ring, a slim women's band and a wider brushed men's band, the three pieces of a trio wedding ring set

A trio wedding ring set adds the partner’s band to a bridal set, so one listing carries three rings: the engagement ring, her wedding band and his wedding band. The appeal is a matched look across both hands from one order. The risk is that three rings are three sizes and, at most sellers, one set of return terms.

The My Trio Rings Blake set shows what a trio listing should publish. It gives the width of every ring, 1.7mm for the engagement ring and for her band and 6.4mm for his, a stone weight for each, and two size selectors. It also shows the cost of spreading a budget over three rings: the center stone is a quarter carat princess. Its 60-day guarantee requires that rings come back “in the original condition in which they were received” and within that window, and it says nothing about returning one ring of the three. Not every set with “trio” in its name is three rings, so count the pieces in the description before you buy.

If his band does not need to match the engagement ring, two separate purchases may serve better: a bridal set for her and a band for him. Our his and hers wedding bands page compares pairs of bands on their own.

Wedding Ring Sets Under $500

Cheap wedding ring sets under $500 exist, and they are a different product from the rest of this page. The two we found were both sterling silver with simulated stones. The Modern Gents Evermore costs under $200 for a halo engagement ring and a half-eternity band in 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, and Jeulia’s three-piece sterling silver set was listed under $500 in two versions whose difference the page did not explain.

Two things to weigh at this price. The white shine is a plating, and GIA notes that “Rhodium plating will wear away gradually over time, requiring the ring to be replated occasionally.” And the stones are simulants, so the set is a look rather than an heirloom. Modern Gents’ 30 days of free returns and alterations is generous for the price. Jeulia’s policy that Final Sale items “are not eligible for refund, exchange or resize” is worth reading before you order. For what couples actually spend on the engagement ring alone, see our average engagement ring cost guide.

Engagement Ring and Wedding Band Sets for Women: Width and Fit

Most wedding ring sets for women pair two slim bands, and the sets here are no exception: 2mm at Modern Gents, 2.3mm on the Luxe Sienna, 2.5mm on the Petite Twisted Vine, 1.7mm at My Trio Rings. That is where Brilliant Earth’s ring width guide puts the market, with the most popular women’s wedding band widths at “2mm to 3mm”.

Width matters more in a set than in a single ring, because two bands sit on one finger. GIA puts it directly: “Bridal sets wider than 4 or 5 mm when the band and engagement ring are worn together require special consideration. Be sure to consult your jeweler about how best to handle this.” If a set’s two rings together exceed that width, size the pair together rather than each ring on its own. And if the engagement ring has a halo or an elongated stone, the band has to be shaped to sit flush, which is the point of buying an engagement ring and wedding band set in the first place; our page on wedding bands for halo rings covers what happens when you buy the band later instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is the Difference Between a Bridal Set and a Wedding Ring Set?

A bridal set and a wedding ring set usually mean the same thing: an engagement ring sold with a wedding band made to sit against it. Some sellers also use wedding ring set for two matching bands for a couple, which our his and hers wedding bands page compares, so read the listing to see whether it includes an engagement ring.

Are Bridal Sets Cheaper Than Buying Separately?

Bridal sets were not cheaper at the one seller where we could test it. Brilliant Earth lists both pieces of its sets on their own, and on 14 September 2026 two of its sets cost exactly the sum of their parts. Most sellers never list the pieces separately, so there is nothing to compare.

How Much Should a Wedding Ring Set Cost?

No rule sets what a wedding ring set should cost. On this page the sets ran from under two hundred dollars in sterling silver to nearly five thousand for a diamond trio in 14K gold. Check what the price covers first, because some sellers price the setting and the band without the center stone.

What Are Some Good Bridal Sets Under $500?

Good bridal sets under $500 are sterling silver with simulated stones. The Modern Gents Evermore, a halo set in rhodium-plated sterling silver, sells for under two hundred dollars with 30 days of free returns and alterations. Expect the plating to need renewing over time.

What Is a Trio Ring?

A trio ring set is three rings sold together: an engagement ring, a matching wedding band for her and a wedding band for him. Look for a separate size selector for the men’s ring and a published width for all three, which the My Trio Rings listing on this page provides.

Can You Wear Both Your Engagement Ring and Wedding Band?

You can wear both your engagement ring and wedding band on the same finger, and a bridal set is designed for exactly that, with the band shaped to sit against the engagement ring. The order they go on is a convention rather than a rule, covered in our guide to wearing both rings.
